As a journalist Liv has covered some of the biggest stories in and outside of Australia.

In her role as senior reporter and presenter in the ABC Sydney newsroom, Liv has covered everything from Australia’s devastating 2019-2020 bushfire season and the COVID pandemic, to Royal visits and outback murders. Adapting her journalism with technology, her stories have been delivered across radio, television, and digital in both long and short form. She is regarded across the industry as a trusted editorial leader, mentor and communicator and respected for her ethics, hard work and collegiality. In addition to her broadcast journalism, Liv has emceed events, worked as a motivational speaker, trained as a BBC and ABC video journalist, advised on media strategy, and operated in political bureaus across NSW, ACT and in Scotland. More recently Liv has completed a creative writing course at the Sydney Writer’s Studio, and hopes to utilise the skills learnt on personal projects in the future.
